Modena Automobili launches a new Restomod

Modena Automobili is dedicated to bringing back to modern life historic icons Made in Modena, such as the Maserati Shamal.
The Maserati Shamal was built from 1989 to 1995 in a limited edition of 369 cars and represents the pinnacle of the Maserati Biturbo dynasty in terms of power, speed and sportiness. The Shamal was designed by the famous Italian designer Marcello Gandini, also known for the style of the Lamborghini Countach, Lamborghini Miura and Lancia Stratos.
Modena Automobili and its partners specialise in a particular type of restoration called RESTOMOD (restored & modified or modern). For us, the word RESTOMOD and the Project MA-01 mean the harmonious fusion of Biturbo, Shamal and Ghibli S M17, built from 2013 to 2023.
The fusion of the 3 Maserati icons, translates into the “Maserati Biturbo-Shamal Restomod” Project MA-01, whose style, engineering and prototype are now, at the time of writing, becoming a superb, unique, beautiful, powerful, safe, homologated, modern Restomod.
